Mike Singer and Christina Singer are the owners of Pinecrest Pilates with a combined 45 years of experience with instruction, ownership, and the operation of fitness centers in the Miami area. They have 2 boys, Ryan 4 and Kyle 2. Mike and Christina are committed parents and business owners and are very passionate about the fitness industry. Mike Singer is a personal trainer, spinning instructor, and fitness consultant with a degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Physiology form the University of Texas in Austin. He has opened up 4 fitness centers over the past 20 years in the Pinecrest area. He is CPR certified and AED certified. Christina Singer is our master instructor at Pinecrest Pilates. Christina is a graduate of Florida International University. She has a Pilates Certification through Core Dynamics with 8 years of pilates teaching experience. She is a certified personal trainer and spinning instructor. She has been teaching group fitness since the age of 15 giving her 27 years of experience in the fitness industry. Christina is CPR and AED certified. |

Sherma Pinkert earned her Pilates Mat Certification from the Physical Mind Institute in 2003 and her Comprehensive Pilates Certification from Michelle Larson’s 18-month Core Dynamics program in 2005. Committed to continually increasing her depth of Pilates knowledge, Sherma regularly attends continuing education workshops with renowned instructors in the field of Pilates. Sherma is a Certified Spin Instructor and ACE Certified Personal Trainer with more than 15 years of experience as a fitness coach. Prior to working in the fitness industry, Sherma was a psychotherapist in Chicago, Illinois. She is a licensed clinical social worker with a masters degree in social work. This background enables her to understand and motivate her Pilates students to their fullest potential. |

Genine Brand, a Miami native has been practicing Pilates for almost ten years and teaching Pilates since 2006. She received her training through Polestar and Pilates Education Group. These approaches combine traditional Pilates with modern principles of exercise science. In addition, she is also a Registered Dietitian, Certified Spinning Instructor and Personal Trainer. Genine has combined a lifetime of fitness with the joy of teaching to help others in the area of healthcare and fitness for over twenty-five years. She is CPR and AED certified. Her encouraging teaching style and dedication help clients reach their full potential in the studio and carry those skills to everyday activities.

Meredith L. Wolf, B.S. ACSM, AFAA is a certified Pilates Instructor, Fitness Practitioner, Wellness Coach, Personal Trainer and Group Health Fitness Instructor. With specialties in health promotion personal training and fitness instruction, Meredith has been involved in the fitness industry for more than 25 years. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Journalism and Public Relations from the University of Florida and holds professional certifications from the American College of Sports Medicine, Wellcoaches Corporation, USA Triathlon, the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America, YogaFit, Phi Pilates, Sanctuary 7 Pilates, Johnny G.Spinning, and Cycle Reebok, among others. She is a Master Member of IDEA and has served as a triathlon coach for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training program. A fitness counselor for total wellbeing, Meredith is a skilled professional who is dedicated to helping clients enhance their health and longevity through applied fitness management, passion and motivation. She is proficient in accommodating all special populations such as youths, seniors, the physically challenged, pregnant and postpartum women, larger individuals and the sedentary to athletic clientele. As a wellness coach, she is qualified to offer wellness education in nutrition, stress management and preventative lifestyle, in addition to safe and effective exercise. She currently teaches outdoor boot camp classes, Pilates mat classes and classical Pilates technique, spinning, body sculpting, and weight trains individual clients. In combining her passion with serving the needs of others, Meredith is a regular participant in charity races of all kinds and lengths, particularly to raise funds for ALS, Autism, and Special Olympics. She is also a regular cyclist in the MS 150 ride as well as the 165-mile Smart ride for AIDS. She also recently completed the Ironman 70.3. Meredith has been married for almost 30 years and has three grown children. She enjoys public speaking on the topic of health and wellness and loves that her work is her passion. |

Jennifer Gould received her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami in 1998. She specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation with an emphasis on orthopedic spine injuries. Jennifer is a certified Pilates Rehabilitation Specialist and has incorporated Pilates in her practice since 2002. Prior to becoming an independent practitioner, Jennifer worked for seven years at Matz Orthopedic Physical Therapy on MIami Beach as a principal physical therapist and marketing manager. Jennifer also worked at Polestar Pilates and Physical Therapy as a physical therapist and Pilates instructor, Pinecrest Physical Therapy, and Pinecrest Pilates. Jennifer holds a bachelors degree from the University of Michigan. She currently lives in Miami with her husband and two children.
